SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern women's lacrosse team scored 15 goals for the fourth time in five games, but it was not enough to overcome a big second half from Southwestern Sunday as the Panthers fell 15-7 at a neutral site.

Natalie Daniel (Ooltewah, Tenn./Baylor School) scored a team-best five goals and earned a team-high five draw controls.  Jade Cox (Rome, Ga./Darlington School) finished right behind her with four goals off five shots on goal.

Jillian Montgomery (Newnan, Ga./LaGrange) grabbed a game-high 13 saves in the loss

The Panthers remain on the road.  They take on DePauw in a neutral site game on Wednesday, March 29.  Game time is set for 1 p.m.
