Women's soccer seals season with 2-0 victory at Hendrix
CONWAY, Ark. - The Birmingham-Southern women's soccer team ended the 2008 season on Sunday with a 2-0 victory over the Hendrix Warriors.
Alicia Plotky scored both Panther goals putting an exclamation point on the end of her first season on the Hilltop. She scored her tenth goal of the season in the 17th-minute off an assist from Lydia Rice. She got her eleventh in the 37th, this time from Erin Carter.
BSC outshot Hendrix 18-7 on the day with eleven of those on-goal compaired to just three on-goal for the Warriors. Ruth Hanks registered all three saves in just over 69 minutes of work. The Panthers led Hendrix in every statistical category en route to their eleventh win of the season. The Panthers finished 2008 with an 11-6-2 record
