Morgan comes to the Hilltop after growing up as a native of Vestavia Hills. She brings with her a decorated academic and athletic career in which she hopes to study psychology while on the Hilltop. Mary Morgan, during her time at Vestavia Hills, was a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society, the Math Honor Society (mu alpha theta), as well as the A-Honor Roll.
While maintaining a full course load at VHS, Morgan was a member of the BUSA 95 ECNL team, a team she captained for six years. In her time spent with the club, they were Region III Central Premier League Champions in 2010 and 2011, and was also named to the Division I State Champion team all four years they participated. Furthermore, she represented the state of Alabama with the Olympic Development Program from 2007 – 2009.
Walton says about Prince: "Mary Morgan is a gamer. She absolutely loves the game. The tougher the opponent, the tighter the situation, the more she wants the ball. She brings a great amount of tactical intelligence and technical ability to our midfield. She is going to be a fun player to watch. Once she gets acclimated to the speed of the college game, I think she will take off."
