Birmingham-Southern set to host 2013 SAA Women's Soccer Championship

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The 2013 Southern Athletic Association Women's Soccer Championship will kick off Friday at noon at Preston Goldfarb Field at Berylson Soccer Park on the Birmingham-Southern campus.

Top-seeded Centre (13-4-2, 6-0-1 SAA) will face eighth seed Millsaps (4-13-1, 0-6-1) in the first game at noon on Friday, followed by No. 4 BSC (7-9, 4-3 SAA) against No. 5 Sewanee (10-5-1, 3-4 SAA) at 2:30 p.m. No. 2 Berry (14-3, 6-1 SAA) will take on No. 7 Oglethorpe (6-10-1, 1-6 SAA) at 5 p.m., and No. 3 Rhodes (13-4-1, 5-1-1) clashes with No. 6 Hendrix (6-8-3, 1-5-1 SAA) at 7:30 p.m.

The semifinals will take place on Saturday, with No. 1 Centre/No. 8 Millsaps facing No. 4 BSC/No. 5 Sewanee at noon, and No. 2 Berry/No. 7 Oglethorpe taking on No. 3 Rhodes/No. 6 Hendrix at 2:30 p.m. The championship game will kick off on Sunday at 1 p.m. All times are Central.
