BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern women's soccer team lost at home Sunday afternoon, falling to league leader Berry College, 2-0, on Preston Goldfarb Field at Berylson Park.

The Panthers fell to 8-4-1 overall and 2-2 in the Southern Athletic Association; the Vikings moved to 12-2 overall and 4-0 in conference action.

Goals from Maggie Midkiff in the 64th (assisted by Hailey Hendrickson) and 73rd (assisted by Chandler Maddox) minutes were all the fuel Berry needed to cruise to their seventh-straight victory.

The Vikings out-shot the Panthers 13-8, 6-4 on-goal. BSC keepers Katie Williams, who started and played for 21 minutes before suffering an injury, and Ansley Tomlin combined for four saves.

The Panthers are on the road this weekend facing Centre, Friday at 6 p.m. Eastern, and Sewanee, Sunday at noon Central.
