Men's Tennis defeats No. 25 North Alabama, 5-4, Women fall to UNA

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –
The Birmingham-Southern men's and women's tennis teams took on North Alabama this afternoon at home, with the men defeating No. 25 UNA, 5-4, but the women falling to the Lions by the same score.

The men remain undefeated at 4-0, while the women fall to 2-1.

For the men, freshman #Faris Pacha# clinched the match for the Panthers, winning 6-2, 7-6 at the number three singles spot. Other wins for BSC included #Michael Locandro# and #John Crawford Freeman# at number one doubles, 8-4, Pacha and #Matt Mabry# at number two doubles, 8-2, Mabry at the fourth singles spot, 7-5, 6-2, and #Richard Pearlman# at the sixth singles position, 6-3, 6-1.

Both teams are at home again tomorrow, taking on Shorter College at 2 p.m. at the BSC Tennis Complex.
