Women's Tennis earns ITA All-Academic Team honor

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team has received the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team Award, and five Panthers have been named ITA Scholar-Athletes.

Rising seniors Hilary Brooks, Payton Gartman, and Raeann Lamere, rising junior Terria Punturo, and rising sophomore Molly Johnson landed on the ITA Scholar-Athlete list. To be eligible, student-athletes must hold a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale. For the team award, the cumulative GPA of the team must be at least 3.20 on a 4.00 scale.
