Women's Tennis remains unbeaten with 7-2 win against Oglethorpe

ATLANTA, Ga.—The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team moved to 5-0 on the season with a 7-2 win against Oglethorpe today in Atlanta, Ga.

The Panthers also moved to 1-0 in the Southern Athletic Association. The Stormy Petrels fell to 5-8 overall and 0-2 in the SAA.

BSC won all three doubles matches, including a 9-7 win at one doubles by junior Sara Cohen and freshman Carlee Petro. The Panthers also won at 1-4 singles, with Petro and Cohen winning at one and two, freshman Katie Scherer winning at three singles, and sophomore Mary Evelyn Carroll winning at four.

The men's and women's teams are back on the courts tomorrow in Mount Berry, Ga., facing Berry College at 10 a.m. EDT.
