Women's Tennis shuts out Agnes Scott

ATLANTA, Ga.—The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team traveled to face Agnes Scott College on Friday and shut out the Scotties, winning 9-0.

The Panthers move to 3-1, while ASC falls to 2-1.

BSC's No. 1 doubles pair of senior Sara Cohen and sophomore Carlee Petro won 8-6, while freshmen McKenzie Courtney and Isabella Wisener won at two doubles 8-0. Junior Mary Evelyn Carroll and freshman Mary Madison Taylor won at the third doubles spot, 8-1.

All six singles points were won in two sets, with Petro and Cohen winning at one and two, followed by Wisener and Courtney at three and four, and Carroll and Taylor at five and six.

The Panthers are at home this Sunday, March 6, hosting West Alabama at noon at the Ann Dielen Tennis Complex.
