Panthers Fall 7-2 Against D2 UAH

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team fell 7-2 to NCAA Division II opponent University of Alabama at Huntsville Friday afternoon on the Ann Dielen Tennis Complex.  No. 42 Carlee Petro (Birmingham, Ala./Mountain Brook HS) won at both #1 singles and #1 doubles.


Petro dominated in singles, winning 6-4, 6-4.  She and Emily Whitlock (Panama City, Fla./A.C. Mosley HS) won their doubles match 9-8 after taking the tiebreaker 7-5.


The Panthers remain at home for their next contest.  They take face West Alabama at noon on Saturday, Feb. 18.
