Panthers Open 2019 with 9-0 Rout of Snead State

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team is off and running in 2019.  The Panthers swept Snead State in their spring opener.

Emily Enoch (Nashville, Tenn./Christ Presbyterian Academy) dominated on the day. Playing out of the No. 3 singles and doubles positions, Enoch only gave up one game, outscoring opponents 20-1. 

Ashton Henderson (Birmingham, Ala./Laurel Springs HS) accomplished the same feat.  She and No. 2 doubles partner Lexie Dillard (Jasper, Ala./Walker HS) won 8-1 before she went on to sweep 6-0, 6-0 in No. 4 singles.

The Panthers hit the road next.  They take on LaGrange College Saturday, Feb. 2.
