ORLANDO, Fla. – The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team ended their Orlando trip on a high note. BSC (5-3) topped Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute 7-2 to close out play at the USTA Center.
Isabella Wisener (Horton, Ala./Douglas HS) went undefeated on the day, winning No. 1 singles 7-5, 6-2 after she and partner Alyssa Yager (Gardendale, Ala./Gardendale HS) took No. 1 doubles 8-5. No. 3 doubles pair Emily Enoch (Nashville, Tenn./Christ Presbyterian Academy) and Harper Anderson (Birmingham, Ala./Vestavia Hills HS) also went undefeated. They won 8-5 together and then Enoch won No. 4 singles 6-0, 6-2. Anderson won No. 3 singles in a tiebreak 6-7, 6-4, 10-6.
The Panthers get a break after the tough road trip. They will return to the Hilltop on March 17 when they face MUW at 11 a.m.
