Harris now all-time kills and digs leader; Panthers fall to La Verne and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - Senior outside hitter Sarah Harris made history once again this weekend by becoming Birmingham-Southern volleyball's all-time digs leader, after becoming the all-time kills leader last weekend. BSC was in Thousand Oaks, Calif., for the Cal Lutheran Fall Classic, losing today to the University of La Verne, 3-1 (25-22, 23-25, 14-25, 15-25), and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps College, 3-0 (17-25, 22-25, 19-25). The Panthers now stand at 11-13 on the season.
Harris surpassed the previous career digs leader, Miljana Lazarevik with 1,342, in last night's win against CLU with 18 digs in the match. Harris' total for the weekend was 44, putting her career total at 1,361.

The Panthers are at home for their next match this Wednesday, Oct. 21, facing Miles College at 6 p.m. in Bill Battle Coliseum.
