BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Junior setter Christine Denning has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Third Team, it was announced today.
Denning, a native of Tucson, Ariz., leads BSC in assists this season and recently became the fifth player in program history to pass the 1,000 assists mark. She was also named to the Academic All-District Third Team last season, and was named to the 2008 SCAC Fall Academic Honor Roll. Denning is a chemistry and mathematics major and is carrying a 3.85 grade point average.
