BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern volleyball team will host a "Panther Pink" match this Friday, as the Panthers face Berry College at 7 p.m. in Bill Battle Coliseum.
The Panthers hope to raise awareness for breast cancer research while providing a fun evening of volleyball for fans.
The first 200 fans through the gates will receive a free Panther Pink t-shirt, and free pizza will be served from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
"This is a great opportunity for us to help raise awareness of an issue that has touched so many lives," Head Coach Judy Green said. "I hope that we'll have a big turnout from students, faculty and staff to help cheer the team on while supporting a great cause!"
BSC is hosting the Fall Invitational this weekend, featuring Susquehanna University, Berry, Fisk University, and Spring Hill College. A complete match schedule can be found here.
