Moore, Reibe earn SCAC Volleyball All-Conference honors

JACKSON, Miss.—Juniors Shelby Moore and Lauren Reibe have been named to the All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Team after exclusive voting by the conference's head coaches.

Moore, a middle blocker from Baton Rouge, La., was named to the First Team, while Reibe, a setter from Daphne, Ala., was named Third-Team.

Moore leads the team this season with 2.93 kills per set and a .318 attack percentage. Earlier this year she broke the single-match percentage record against Oglethorpe, hitting .800 (16 kills, no errors). Reibe led the team with 9.96 assists per set while also recording 2.34 digs per set. She was also third on the team with 31 service aces.

The Panther are currently in action at the 2011 SCAC Volleyball Championship, hosted by Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss. BSC, the fourth seed, lost earlier today to fifth-seeded Trinity and will play tomorrow at 9 a.m. against the loser of the match between top-seeded Southwestern and ninth-seeded Dallas.
