Volleyball downs Sewanee on the road, 3-1

SEWANEE, Tenn.—The Birmingham-Southern volleyball team went on the road this evening and faced Sewanee, defeating the Tigers 3-1.

The Panthers move to 14-7 overall and 9-2 in the Southern Athletic Association. BSC won by the scores of 23-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-16. Statistics were not available for the match.

"As soon as we decided we wanted to invest in every point, we played very well," Head Coach Judy Green said. "We got tough tonight and I liked the attitude we finished the game with."

BSC travels to Danville, Ky., tomorrow to face Centre College at 2 p.m. Eastern.
