BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern College women's volleyball will welcome its largest recruiting class since 2012 this fall, Head Coach Jeff White announced.  The Panthers have received commitments from seven prospective student-athletes.

"The 2016 recruiting class is a highly motivated and very talented group of student-athletes that are ready to come in to BSC and contribute right away," said White.  "All of them are excellent students in the classroom and top players on the court. We couldn't be more excited about bringing this group to campus and unleash them to compete for starting spots on our 2016 team. The future is bright for BSC Panther Volleyball."

The incoming freshman will join a Panther squad that has been building speed, making two consecutive trips to the Southern Athletic Association championship match, and reaching the NCAA Regional semifinals last year under White.  In his two years at the helm, White has led the Panthers to two straight 20+ win seasons and only the fourth 25+ win season in program history.
