Panthers Fall 3-1 Against Berry

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's volleyball team dropped its first Southern Athletic Association match Friday night.  The Panthers fell 3-1 to Berry College.  They move to 5-4 on the year, 1-1 in conference play.

 

Julia Denby (Gulf Breeze, Fla./Gulf Breeze HS) led the team offensively with 13 kills.  Rachel Lee (Montgomery, Ala./The Montgomery Academy) had a team-high 35 assists, and Caroline Johnson (Lucas, Texas/Lovejoy HS) led the backline with 23 digs.

 

BSC continues SAA action tomorrow afternoon.  The Panthers take on Oglethorpe University at 1 p.m. in Bill Battle Coliseum.
