MOUNT BERRY, Ga.  – No. 21 Birmingham-Southern volleyball ended its season with a 3-1 loss to No. 22 Mary Hardin-Baylor in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Friday night.  BSC finished the season 25-7, its most wins since 2015.

Rebecca Erwin (Duluth, Ga./Duluth HS) finished with a team-high of 14 kills.  Ward and Denby also  finished with double digit kills.  Marjorie Ward (Winter Park, Fla./Winter Park HS) closed out her career with a double-double, earning 10 kills and 10 digs.  Julia Denby (Gulf Breeze, Fla./Gulf Breeze HS) earned 12 kills and led the team in blocks with seven.

The Panthers had an incredible run this season.  An 18-match win streak helped propel them into the national spotlight and just outside the top 20.  Their No. 21 ranking was the highest BSC has ever ranked in the NCAA.
