Title: Volunteer Assistant Volleyball Coach

Ellen Rehme joined the BSC volleyball coaching staff in August 2013.

She was a successful right-side hitter at the University of Florida where she made a final four appearance in 2002 and won two Southeastern Conference titles. She transferred to Texas Christian for her junior and senior seasons, and was voted Team MVP both years. Rehme was a two-time Academic All-SEC selection, and she was a Strength & Conditioning All-American while at TCU.

Rehme graduated from TCU in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Radio Television and Film, and went on to earn her Master's degree from TCU in 2007. She played professionally in Cyprus after graduating from TCU, helping the Anorthosis Volleyball Club win the 2006 spring national championship.

Rehme is a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, and has served in that capacity at both the University of North Carolina and Samford. She also volunteered with Corner Stone Schools and the Lakeshore Foundation, which works with paralympic adult and youth athletes. Rehme is currently coaching the Alabama Juniors Volleyball Club and is a paramedic and an Emergency Room Patient Care Technician at UAB. She plans to obtain her degree to become a Physician's Assistant in the near future.
