BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Seguin, Texas, this weekend for the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regional Championship, hosted by Texas Lutheran University.
The top two teams and the next top seven individuals who are not on those two squads will automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships at the Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wisc., the weekend of Nov. 19, while the third, fourth and fifth-place schools will be eligibile for an at-large selection to the NCAA meet.
"We are very excited to have the opportunity to compete at Regionals this weekend," Head Coach Kenneth Cox said. "There will be some great runners from across the South/Southeast Region and we are ready to line up and compete. This will be a competitive experience that we can continue to build on from SCAC Championships. Our team has continued to improve each week and this will allow us to see where we are in the post-season."
