  • SAA Announces Fall All-Sportsmanship Teams

    ATLANTA - The SAA announced the 2016 Fall Sports All-Sportsmanship Teams and 55 student-athletes among the league's eight full-time members and three affiliate members received recognition. Formed in 2011, the SAA places a special emphasis on good sportsmanship and fair play amongst all competitors.
  • Women Finish 12th at NCAA Regionals

    ROME, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern men's and women's cross country teams had a great showing at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Saturday morning. Chris Roberts (Huntsville, Ala./Huntsville HS) finished eighth out of 208 runners to qualify for Nationals. Timothy McOmber (Montgomery, Ala./Montgomery Catholic Prep School) also medaled in 17th place.
  • Women's Cross Country Ranked 10th in Region

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s cross country team is currently ranked 10th in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South/Southeast regional rankings, the organization announced recently.

    JACKSON, Miss. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s cross country team placed fourth overall at the 2016 Southern Athletic Association Championship Saturday morning on Choctaw Trails. BSC had three runners finish top 20.
  • SAA Championships: Cross Country Primed to Compete

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern cross country programs are primed for the Southern Athletic Association Championships this Saturday. The women's 6K starts at 10 a.m. with the men's 8K beginning at 11 a.m. on Choctaw Trails in Clinton, Miss.
  • Cross Country Finishes Fifth and Seventh at Berry Invite

    MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern cross country teams had a good showing at the Berry College Invite Saturday morning. The women finished fifth out of 19 teams on the course. The men finished seventh, respectfully.
  • Men and Women Finish Fifth at Watson Ford Invite

    CLINTON, Miss. – Both the Birmingham-Southern men’s and women’s cross country teams earned fifth place out of all non-Division I programs at the Watson Ford Invitational Friday evening. Chris Roberts (Huntsville, Ala./Huntsville HS) and Elise Pittman (Vestavia Hills, Ala./Vestavia Hills HS) finished top five in their respective races.
  • Cross Country Finishes Sixth and Eighth at UAH Invite

    HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men’s cross country team saw two finish top 10 at the University of Alabama, Huntsville Invitational Saturday. The runners competing represented programs from NCAA Divisions I-III. The BSC men placed sixth as a team, while the women finished eighth, respectively.
  • Cross Country Competes at Montevallo Falcon Classic

    MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern College men’s and women’s cross country team finished 10th and ninth, respectively, at the 2016 Montevallo Falcon Classic. Chris Roberts (Huntsville, Ala./Huntsville HS) posted the Panther’s top male time, finishing 10th overall out of 136 runners.
